The Chili Peppers show was amazing. They played a lot of Californication stuff ("Scar Tissue", "Around The World", "Otherside", "Californication", "Parallel Universe", "Right On Time" and some that I Don't remember), a lot of new songs from "By The Way", the single, "Don't Forget Me", "Universally Speaking", the ska song (I don't know what it is called) and one with John playing an acoustic guitar (not "Cabron"), my favourite. The next record will be great. Also somebody played the synthetiser but I didn't see who it was. They also played songs from BSSM like "I Could Have Lied", "The Power Of Equality", "Under The Bridge" and "Give It Away". Well, that was a very hot day in Badalona.
Me and my friend Joan were waiting for a good place to see the show. And finally we went in front of the stage on the left, near John of course. One hour after, the opening band started to play and Chad came on stage and started a drum solo. What a wonderful guy!
A little gift for the 150 people that were there at that time.
Later the peppers played an amazing show. I saw their have a lot of
energy and they are very nice to the crowd. Flea was talking in spanish, about love and his wee wee in the morning, and Anthony told him "You have to wash good" in
spanish too. John seemed so happy and smiled a lot of time, he never played
so good. He also looked the crowd a lot and smiled later. It's so funny, I'm happy to see John happy. And during "Under The Bridge" he jumped from the amps between the stage and the crowd, and played almost all the song there, sitting there, wow, I was almost able to touch him during this song!!! John seemed to have a really great time with his child expression on his face. This show was wonderful and amazing...The best of the four Peppers shows I have been to. |
