This was John's first "official," (or "unofficial,") show, it depends on who you talk to. But John said himself, (earlier on the day of this show,) that it was going to be his first show with the Peppers, I heard it myself as I interviewed all of them on video tape. (I've got some great photos too; some candids, some performance shots.) Also, D.H. Peligro was still on drums that night. I don't remember the setlist other than "Stone Cold Bush," mainly because they played that at the soundcheck, and I caught most of it on tape. TSOL was also "breaking in" a new guitar player, and Mitch and Joe talked about him to me on tape as well. I believe this was their tour for "Hit and Run." |
