After some research, it seems this is eventually the exact date of this show. There is a video called "Skate Competition" featuring the performance (with skaters like Tony Hawk) which was distributed in 1988 and was out of print for some time but is now available on DVD (more infos in the live videography). This contest, also known as the "Vision Skate Escape Contest", was the precursor to the Warped Tour of the 90's.
